One of the fastest developing cities, Noida comes under the power of Gautam Budh Nagar district of UP. Noida is considered an icon city in UP due to its development in industry, commerce and trade.
Noida is a major hub for multinational firms, media and sports. Owing to the urban atmosphere in Noida and its proximity to Delhi, many companies have their corporate offices and Indian branch office in Noida. The demand of land in Noida is rising towards peak hence the price of property is going up here. Land rates which were recorded Rs 3,000-15,000 per sq meter until five year ago has now listed Rs 35,000-90,000 per sq meter.
Noida has been put on the fast track for the Delhi Metro. Through Delhi Metro, Noida is now connected to CP and Dwarka. Noida has three main expressways. One is DND flyover which connects Noida and Delhi and runs across Yamuna. The second is Noida- Greater Noida express-way and third is the Yamuna Expressway which connects Noida to Agra via Mathura.
